Hope in our helplessness

Hello ladies!

I hope your August has been great so far. Tonight, I thought I would talk about something that i'm sure we've all dealt with or will deal with at one time or another: helplessness. You know, that feeling of loss of control and darkness. You feel like giving up because there's no reason to keep trying right? I mean you keep messing up, you keep starting over, so why? I've personally felt this way frequently. I shared with you all earlier that there are certain things I have struggled with and still do. There are days I have done better and times I think i'm ALL better but I inevitably end up getting sucked right back in, of my own volition, anyways. But, I do have hope; I have hope that the cycle will eventually break because I know One who can set me free. But all that aside, there's a bigger picture here. In spite of all my struggles, in spite of failing Him EVERY SINGLE day, He STILL loves me and ALWAYS will. Because I have accepted Him as my Savior and I believe He is God's Son, Jesus loves me ALL the time, no rules, no guidelines, no qualms, He JUST LOVES ME. And, HE LOVES YOU TOO. HE is the ONLY One who is our Help because He IS love. And there is nothing we could ever do to lose that love. So, no matter what we're dealing with, when we feel helpless, when we feel like giving up,

we can keep your head up. Because His love will give us the strength we need to move forward, to run toward the goal. Have a fantastic weekend and as always, if you need anything, don't hesitate to contact me :)
