\\What a Friend We Have in Jesus//

Hey everyone! It has been super super long! I can’t believe it has been almost 4 months since I have even written a post! I have missed this! I am extremely disappointed in myself for not writing more often but between coming home and spending most of my time with family, vacations, and just being plain lazy. I haven’t had much time to write!

Today I am going to focus on something a little different than my traditional style. I want to talk about something that everyone has experienced and cherished... FRIENDSHIP! I have had so many friendships happen in my lifetime; some that have lasted throughout the years, and some that come and go, some that were short. The one thing that lasts through each and every one of them is that I would still do anything for my friends. In life, you need to find people that truly balance you out, someone that you love to be around, someone that you can make many memories with, someone that you can fight with and then act like it didn’t even happen, someone to go on late night drives with, and someone that truly shows you what a true friendship is like. I am so lucky and blessed in my life to have multiple people that I have this relationship with.

SHOUTOUT TO SOME PRETTY AMAZING PEOPLE IN MY LIFE--I would love to share these people as just a little appreciation- my mom, my amazing boyfriend, my college roommate, my blog girlfriend and overall best friend, my friend since preschool, and my high school twin.

I seriously don’t know what I would have done without any one of these people throughout many years. I cherish my relationships with each of these people-- they have constructed and molded me into who I am today. I would love to say that every moment of a friendship is perfect-- IT IS NOT. Sometimes things happen in life, sometimes you fight, and sometimes thing just don’t go the way you want. Guess what? IT IS OK. Life is going to have bumps but you know who has your back no matter what? God.

Now you see where I am getting here…

One of the many friendships that will never waiver, that will never have an issue, that will never die out. You can have someone that will truly love you no matter what. I have a bible verse that I want to share and a hymn.

The bible verse is Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through deep waters, I will be with you..

This is the kind of friendship that I feel everyone truly needs in life. This also leads in to the hymn that we sing at my southern church; What A Friend We Have In Jesus. (If you haven’t heard this, look up a video and also the lyrics... truly a song that touches your heart).

Going along with this topic I hope you realize that trusting in Jesus will change your life, it surely has in mine. Friendship is truly a gift; I am grateful for my true friends, and of course Jesus.
