End of semester blues

Good evening lovely ladies!

Tonight's blog post is about things coming to a close and the stress/sadness than can come along with endings. I've been sitting here sipping a hot cup of orange spice tea studying for my philosophy test next week and I began to contemplate a few things: First, I've been SUPER stressed this past week. I have two classes that i'm worried about passing and I have a few big decisions and changes that need to be made. Second, there's always a bit of sadness that presents itself at the end of a semester. I think it may be a combination of knowing i'm moving on (which can also be a really good thing) and that I may never see the same friends and professors again. That sounds super depressing but that's not how I meant it haha. Anyways, I have to remind myself to focus on the positives of these changes. For one, moving ahead in my degree plan is really exciting! I finally get to dive into my history classes which i'm VERY excited about. I also get to start on some very big changes that will make my life better. Plus, even though I may not see the same people from this semester, I will get to see my very closest friends and meet new people as well! I know God has a plan for my life and that sometimes, life brings a little bit of sadness. But I know that I can look forward to the changes that the Lord has for me. Tonight, if you're feeling the end of semester blues, if you'e worried about grades and finals, let the Lord calm your heart. Let Him show you the positives in this situation and lean on Him for strength and support.

Love and Blessings,

Mariah xoxo
