Hey guys; it’s been awhile. I hope you all had a great January. I hope your new years resolutions are still thriving and overall I hope you are just enjoying a refreshing start. I changed up my normal layout and added more pictures and GIFS; I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Today I am going to cover a few topics that everyone can relate to.
Bible verse for this post:
Psalms 37:5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.
Today my topic is a three step process that was my main new years resolution: Breathe, Refresh, Love. Last semester I was really stressed to the core. I felt like everyone and everything was against me and that nothing was going my way. I wasn’t in the Word like I should have been, and I was doing things I would never want to be done to me. I talked about people, got an attitude problem, and just worried myself. The new year and the break from school made me realize who I really want to be in life. I want to be a joy to be around; someone that doesn’t talk bad, or get an attitude.

BREATHE- I have learned to take a breather. Everyone gets mad, makes mistakes, and stresses. Normal things for the crazy world. I have realized that before I do anything I need to take a breath. Going over my thoughts and just repeating them makes things so much worse. In the past I hung on situations that truly had no meaning. I have learned to breathe, and just pray. Praying for me has become a habit; a habit I never regret. I love just getting closer with myself and also with God.
REFRESH- In the past I hung onto situations like I explained in the above section. Refreshing means just giving people another chance. One of my favorite bible verses is we love because he first loved us. I love to just love on others. I have realized in the last month of doing this process that my life has been so much more enjoyable. I have become so much closer with some, and just prayed that much harder for others. I have issues with people but so does everyone; hanging on the situation helps no one. My favorite thing to do in the refresh process is pinterest. I pin things of the future, things that I want to do. I have found that just getting my mind on other things eases thinking. I hope to just continue to refresh myself and hopefully others will notice.
LOVE- My favorite. The last step is to just love. I want to love life, others, and just my surroundings. I realize that life is perfect, and love isn’t either. I want to love others because Jesus loved others. People make mistakes towards others and forgiveness is key to happiness. I have learned to love those around me. Recently one of my friends was homesick and I simply bought her a little mug, coffee, and a card. Do you know how simple, easy, and cheap it was? Do you realize how much it could just uplift someone? I hope to just spread the love with others, spread the happiness of life with friends, and spread the love of the Lord with those I don’t know.
(Not necessarily *this love*, BUT ISN'T THIS THE BEST MOVIE)
This process is somewhat different but it’s a one-of-a-kind. I hope in the future to continue to just uplift myself and those around me. I want to make a difference in this broken world and just lighten the mood. I hope that you take on this process or just construct your own. Make your life enjoyable just by doing things the right way. Stay in your word, pray more, worry less, breath, refresh, and love.
My prayer for you:
Dear Lord, Thank you for all the blessings you have given us. Thank you for just a wonderful January and just so much light that you bring. I hope that all of the people reading will just be refreshed in your love. I hope you help us learn to just be more like you. We love you Lord.
