Hello beautiful ladies!
I hope you've enjoyed these first couple weeks of 2017! Today, I thought we would talk about changes. I recently moved out on my own. The first night was hard. I cried when my family left. I felt alone and scared. But, I realized that not only were my parents only a phone (or face time) call away, not only was it only 3 1/2 hours to home, but I had something even better. I had Jesus. I still do. I know that He is always with me and He holds me close to Him. Sometimes, we forget that He's there. We forget that He told us we didn't have to worry. It's easy to feel alone and abandoned. But we can remember that we aren't alone. We never are. We can rest assured that Jesus is always with us; He will never leave us. When I think about it, I know I was scared of being on my own because it's a huge change. Even though I went away to school last semester, I was living with two roommates. Now I'm by myself in this house and it can be intimidating. But I also know that this is a huge step in going out on my own when I graduate college. I am branching out and becoming the woman God created me to be. And that is SO exciting! So, the next time you feel alone or scared because of changes in your life, remember that you're not alone.I think we can call feel this way sometimes. But, we have to remember to look for the positives; and to remember that Jesus is always right next to us.
