Trusting in God

Happy Friday everyone! Thank God for Fridays and a light at the end of tunnel for the year.
The stress of school, finals, last-minute Christmas shopping is now surfacing. I know that life can be stressful but we need to trust in God and let him have control.
The verse I want to share with you today is Proverbs 3:5-6.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
This verse stands out to me on this beautiful Friday because we need to trust in him in order for him to give us a straighter path. Sometimes it is hard to see/feel/know that God is there throughout the stress of life. God wants us to trust that he has it all under control. I also believe God places people in our life we really do need. This semester at LU has led me to my roommate, a random girl in Biblical Worldview who is now one of my closest friends, and quad/hall mates who truly care about you. Strangers can bless your life in so many ways. God will put you past everything you’re going through, he will give you a straighter path and people to lead you in the right direction. Family is another thing that God has blessed you with; whether family for you is parents, grandparents, foster, or adopted parents he has gave you a safe haven.
Well I hope everyone has a great weekend. Thanks to everyone who is reading and please spread the news about us! Let me pray with you…
Dear Lord,
Thank you for all these girls that read over our blog. Please bless them and lead them in the right direction. Give Mariah, Cayce, and I the right words to speak in your truth. Please help us all share the gospel with others. Thankful for all you do for us Lord. Keep everyone safe this weekend, and just guide us to make the right decisions. We love you Lord!
In Jesus name, we pray,
Amen
Love,
Autumn
